Los Leones - Camaraderie Without Borders

Los Leones was created from a simple idea: the camaraderie, friendships and shared sense of purpose developed through military service shouldn’t end when the uniform comes off.

We chose the Spanish name Los Leones – The Lions – deliberately. From the beginning, we wanted to create something outward-looking and international, bringing people together through friendship and shared challenge rather than being defined by one regiment, service or nationality.

What began as a small group of friends has grown into an international community of veterans, serving military personnel and civilians. At the heart of Los Leones is camaraderie. We train together, travel together and take part in endurance events, in the UK and overseas.

Shared challenge helps maintain old friendships, create new ones and bring people together around a common purpose. We use our activities to support military charities, close to our hearts.

Military service provided much of the inspiration for Los Leones: teamwork, determination, humour in adversity and looking after the person beside you. Today it is friendship, rather than rank, nationality or previous achievement, that defines the group.

New challenges. Enduring friendships. Shared Purpose.
